Here's what we've been up to...

Our friends, Dennis and Jackie, that come to the bus every week in Manhatten.

Darcy gets to come on the bus occasionally when a friend watches the boys.

We can drive to the Jersey shore in an hour to enjoy a day away.

The boys love playing in the sand. They get covered head to toe (and every nook and cranny in between)!

Our New Home: Elizabeth, NJ

We moved here on July 1st and all went well. We are renting the first floor and basement of a 2 family home. We live in a quiet neighborhood near the park and are getting to know our neighbors. During our first few weeks here we really felt like we were in another country with so many different languages all around us. Eli began speaking his own dialect of “Spanish”. Luckily he can translate for us. With people from all over the world, we were quickly reminded of whom our great country is made up.
We are adjusting now and can even find our way around town without getting lost every time we leave home. We are finding fun things to do like visits to Sandy Hook Shore, IKEA (a store with a ball pit for kids), Toys ‘R’ Us, every playground in the city, and of course visits to NYC. We’ve also made some great friends. There are several families at NYCR with young children. We are still church hunting, but have enjoyed the different churches and know God will take us to the right church home soon.

Painted Faces

One of many faces painted by Libby at the Brooklyn spot.

Our friends, Billy and Libby, from Indiana came to visit in August. They spent a day on the bus and then stayed and toured the city. Here they are in Time Square.
